A beautiful cave with an underground spring that has created a natural pool reaching a depth of 22 meters and accessible to snorkelers. Its waters are extraordinarily transparent with abundant secondary formations stalactites and stalagmites of curious shape. During you dive here you can discover fish and blind shrimp among other species. There is also a bar, relaxation areas and toilets.

The oldest statue in the western hemisphere dedicated to Admiral Christopher Columbus was erected in 1862 in a park in the old City of Cárdenas. Famous about its name "La Ciudad del Cangrejos" (city of the crabs). It’s also known as the Flag city due to the Cuban national flag was hoisted for the first time, atop the building of the La Dominica Hotel. Narrow streets full of horse-drawn carriages, and not anymore what it was used to be in the earlier years.

Monserrat Heights is a pleasant park that's also the site of La Ermita de Monserrat, a handsome, Colonial-Spanish style church. Built in 1875, the church is a shrine to the patron saint of Catalonians who immigrated to Cuba. This viewpoint has a spectacular view of the city and the bay, and the opposite direction is of the Yumuri River valley. There is also a snack bar in the park where you can refresh yourself.

Canimar River is a Natural Park and a river, one of the deepest in Cuba, where you can sail and enjoy the exuberant vegetation and the rich fauna of the cliffs around it. The park invites visitors to enjoy its peaceful natural beauty with horse or boat rides or fishing and snorkeling excursions. The river flows into the bay of Matanzas next to the Morrillo Castle, built in 1720.
