About Lapa Verde Ecolodge
Lapa Verde Caribbean Paradise Eco-Lodge is an eco-tourist hotel, located in the National Park, a leader in the area for its attractive birdwatching in season, in addition to living in close relationship with nature, we are one of the few hotels that still preserve the virgin territory of the Caribbean jungle.
We have a privileged location between the Volcanic Hill and the main Tortuguero Canal, in front of the Penitencia Lagoon, being a natural passageway of different species of monkeys, deer, among others. Our almond tree, located at the entrance of the property, has an approximate age of 200 years, being home to many species: orioles, toucans, birds of passage, but above all the beautiful and almost extinct green barnacles.
