Cayo Largo Scuba Diving Center
Cayo Largo offers some unique water-sport opportunities due to its sea beds, among some of the best protected in the Caribbean, large coral reefs, caves, shipwrecks, a wealth of biodiversity and the nearby keys of Iguana, Cantiles and Rico. Most of the diving sites are at reefs and walls that are from 16 to 98 fet (5 to 30 meters) down—which makes them an excellent scuba-diving destination for both experienced and beginningdivers. This singularly attractive scuba-diving Area—which extends for 30 miles (48 kilometers)—is considered one of the best places for scuba diving in the Caribbean. It is surrounded on aernll sides by coral reefs, which form an impressive habitat for fauna that is both varied and abundant.
